I enjoyed this sequel of Into the Dark series. Into the Light started right where Into the Dark left off, but also have past history between Nathaniel( Breacher), Isadora (Mercy's aunt) and Ariana (Mercy's mother).

Mercy has strong feelings for Nathaniel, but also has feelings about Gage, but doesn't want to hurt either one so she doesn't act on her feelings.

Nathaniel and Gage are getting along, but the tension remains such under the surface. However, the games are about to begin with Mercy, Nathaniel and Gage in middle of a tug war between The Assembled and Isadora or are there more secrets to be revealed.

What is Isadora hiding? Why is everyone after Mercy, including her newly made sister, Justice?

As Mercy's powers increase, the threat to her family increasing and the struggle for power begins.

This is a very fast paced read and it will have you page turning until the end.
I enjoyed the HEA as it was a good ending to a good story.

I recommend this book if you enjoy paranormal and make sure to read Into the Dark too.

Kennedy who owns Designs by K&C in Montana has a car accident and doesn't remember the past.   Her mother takes her back home to Texas in order to help her memories return.  Kennedy's childhood memories return including her friends Dallas and Casey, but nothing further.

Dallas, who feels scorned by the love of his life 10 years ago, has played the field to get over his true love - Kennedy.   Dallas's neighbor Mrs. Stella is a unique character as she watches over Dallas by feeding him.  Stella knows about Dallas's past and now will play matchmaker as Kennedy has returned home.

Stella sets things in motion by sending Kennedy to Dallas's ranch.  Kennedy doesn't remember the love they shared, but knows there is a strong connection with Dallas.  

As love shines through the darkness, we learn what drove them apart in the first place.  But will Kennedy's memories return only to tear them apart again or does forgiveness prevail?

Wow!! If you love paranormal this book is for you. Let me just say this book is fast paced and you will lose yourself in the world of Breachers and Hunters.

Breachers are people who can transfer from one person's body to another person's body, however the downfall is that the body they leave dies.
While the Hunters are the ones who hunter the Breachers and kills them as directed by the Assembled.

Mercy awakes up in the hospital and she is in her best friend's (Lyla) body. She is confused and doesn't understand what in the world is going on.

Gage is the hunter that has been watching Mercy for awhile and now knows she jumped into Lyla's body. He needs to fix this fast before the Assembled find out. However Mercy's body is dying, so he decides to take the body in hopes to place Mercy back into her own body.

However, he doesn't expect is love to come into play into all of this mess. He must keep her safe from Nathaniel (one of the most dangerous Breachers) as he doesn't know what Nathaniel wants with Mercy yet.

A love triangle emerges and secrets are revealed to Mercy, but can she find out the truth before it's too late. The ending will leave you saying to yourself - What the Hell!!

This is my first book by Caroline Patti and I will say I was impressed her writing. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next and hope she will continue with this storyline.
