OMG!!!! I loved this book. This book is an emotional rollercoaster ride, full of passion, sorrow, pain, love and acceptance.
It starts out right where the fist book (To Live Again) ends. Kelsey has remained with Shaun in friends with fringe benefits relationship. Shaun still can't commit fully to her due to his past.
We are taken back via flashbacks to what occurred in Shaun's past with his deceased wife (Carmen). I will not add any spoilers to this review, because this is a must read. I can guarantee tissues will be needed close by while reading this book.
Dori writes with such emotions, that you feel all the pain and suffering that Kelsey, Carmen and Shaun go through within this story. You will learn why Shaun has shut himself out from finding and holding on to love.
This story is a heartbreaker, but has a beautiful ending.
Dori writes an exceptional realistic story that draws you in and holds you to the last page. I can't wait to see what Dori has in store in her the next book.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone (over 18+) and give it a 5+ rating.
