Holy Sh*t this series gets better and better. Dori has a talent for writing dark romance thrillers and I praise her on another astonishing series. 

Chloe is now being captive by her husband on the yacht and the torture begins. Alvin is out for blood and Chloe is the target, but yet Chloe still sees Miles as the angel within. 

Alvin is a character that you love to hate, but then the flip side you want to rescue from the damage in his past. Oh how the past comes to haunt us and this is no exception. Chloe is paying dearly for her choices in life and must live with the consequences. 

This book is a rollercoaster of emotions from hate to love and back to hate. 
I loved how Dori, put Alvin's POV as I got more insight as why he is so bend on revenge. 

No spoilers here as this is a must read to get the full impact of the thriller.
Does Chloe survive this ordeal? I can't answer that question, but I look forward to the third book in this series.

Oh the ending takes you by surprise and leaves you wanting more. 

Yes, there are some triggers containing abuse, so beware. However if you are looking for dark, this is the series for you.
