Let me start out saying if you love fantasy this book is for you. Sarah Pepper has taken Peter Pan's story of Neverland and expanded it to include dark and light elements.
Its starts out in the present day with a mutiny occurring on the Jolly Roger between Captain James and his crew spurred on my Peter. Peter wants to return to Neverland, but Bell won't show him the way.
Captain James wants to save Bell and Bell wants to save Captain James as they have fallen for each other. Alias, tragedy strikes Captain James and Bell must make a run for it. But, before she does black magic comes into play to help her escape.
Peter is downright evil and will stop at nothing to get what he wants from Bell. Does Bell help Peter back to Neverland or can she outwit him?
The adventure is non-stop and kept me wondering what was going to happen next to Bell.
I loved how Sarah wrote in dual POV and gave me glimpses from the past to the present. This is book one of the Never Ever Series and I for one can't wait until book 2.
