I was looking forward to reading the conclusion of the
Forbidden Trilogy and was hoping that Ransom got his HEA . I was not disappointed as JC Valentine gave
an amazing story on how relationships can be saved, when the right person comes
along.
Ransom still held a grudge and angry after being betrayed by
his brother, Rebel and Joe, his wife.
His life went downhill between alcohol and not caring about anything.
Dani walks in his life one fateful night and they begin a
friendship. However, the attraction
between them is undeniable. But first Ransom must conquer his anger, before
love can come in. Dani, on the other
hand, is sweet, brazen and outspoken when it comes to Ransom, but she also
holds a secret.
Can love hold the key to healing a broken heart and
soul? Does the secret that Dani holds
play a part into their relationship or does she overcome her fears?
Ransom is shown as weak in the beginning, but becomes
stronger and determined in the end. Dani
is shown as a helper and problem solver with heart as big as the moon. The
reader also reconnects with Rebel and Joe to see how their lives have turned
out.
A great ending to a fantastic series and I look forward to
reading what JC Valentine is going to write next.
I highly recommend this book and the whole series of
Forbidden Trilogy.
